"I first saw André’s work around 5 years ago at Chalk Horse Gallery and I was immediately drawn to the layering of the colours and the overall luminosity of the paintings. I love how his open air sky scanning paintings create a visual wave where light and colour float and absorb you into the painting. The dream becomes real with the image touched by his hand leaving thick luscious traces of paint."

"Todd’s balloons are so playful and quirky. We usually think of balloons as floating and weightless objects, but Todd’s balloons seem to drop and slump, as the force of gravity appears to pull them down. We experience the unexpected with this versatile sculptural piece which so easily can be placed on surfaces and ledges."

"I first experienced Stevie’s fabric work when she installed a sculptural statuesque in my home. The art piece was dressed in a cascading fringe, and I saw how the materials responded and flowed in her hands. She skilfully sculpts the fabric to achieve a dance of movement and drama. This particular work, 'mira mira 29', continues the dance and theatricality of her work. The exquisite blue and gold folds reminds me of a voluptuous couture dress being worn on a runway."

"Robert’s atmospheric images immediately draw the viewer in. The artist usually works with abandoned objects in the outback, such as cars, bicycles and tin cans. Robert shared his process with me, which involves creating these compositions using the light provided by several iPhones. This results in a series of eerie and almost surreal scenes that become such a surprising intervention in the natural world."

"Marley’s 'Public Furniture' exhibition is based on the riots following Philadelphia’s win in the 2018 Super Bowl. The celebration turned into a riot with street lights and urban planter pots toppled over. The ghostly outlines of the brass wire are a stark reminder of the chaos of the night. When I first saw the work I was attracted by its scale and simplicity and understanding the context gave it gravity."
